## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is seeking to procure a Range Safety Planning and Management (RSPM) system aimed at automating the production, assurance, and authorisation of live field firing Range Danger Area traces and documentation. This request for information (RFI) is in the planning stage, with an end date for early market engagement set for 13 August 2024. The procurement falls under the digital mapping systems industry and is intended for widespread geographical areas including the British Oversea Territories, Channel Islands, Europe, Isle of Man, and the United Kingdom. Key elements of the system include remote accessibility for multiple users, proven accuracy, user role differentiation, and compliance with UK Defence Policies. The procurement process seeks suppliers capable of fitting the system to UK Military use within 30 days, with a target initial operating capacity by December 2024.

This tender presents a valuable growth opportunity for businesses involved in digital mapping systems, especially those with experience in military applications. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate. Companies that can showcase proven accuracy and compliance through testimonials, particularly from military organisations, will have a competitive edge. Additionally, the requirement for dedicated support services, adaptability for UK Defence use, and comprehensive training packages make this procurement suitable for businesses capable of delivering robust, scalable, and secure digital solutions.

Time-limit (Date & Time) (by 23:59 on): 09/08/2024 Information requested: The Authority are looking to undertake early market engagement to understand the current state of the market, specifically the number of suppliers capable of meeting our requirements outlined above. If you are able to meet the above, please contact Army Commercial at the contact details above with commercially available details of your product along with evidence of accuracy , which should take the form of a testimonial from an organisation (preferred military) stating the number and level of accurate traces that have been produced and the number of non-compliant traces produced.
