We want to feature a broad range of learners who are 'making a difference'. This publication aims to engage and inspire young people, parents, employers and staff in the FE sector, and to really challenge out-dated ideas of what young people with learning difficulties and disabilities can do and achieve. We want to shift the emphasis, so we see bright young people first; and disability second! The publication will show how by embracing inclusion we enable our young people to be, and lead, the change they want to see in the world. The publication will also celebrate the great work that is done in the further education and training sector to support young people to achieve their life goals and follow their passions. While the focus of each learner profile is the young person, what they have achieved and what they stand for, we feel it is also important to acknowledge the organisation where they studied or trained.
