The requirement will be re-tendered under a separate commercial exercise later this year.(Forestry England have an opportunity for a new tenant to operate a Lease for Kielder Castle Cafe for a period of 1 year. There will be an option to extend the lease by up to a further 2 years in total. The successful bidder/tenant will need to work proactively with Forestry England, alongside existing businesses on site, to provide a high quality visitor experience.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
