## Notice

The University of Reading (UoR) requires a cost effective fully comprehensive maintenance service to maintain existing Lifts. The Contractor will need to have the capability to design, install and manage the installation of new Lifts as detailed in the specification. The University of Reading (UoR) requires a cost effective service to repair and maintain its lift installations. The service will include reactive and preventative maintenance delivered in accordance with the Schedule. The Employer's objectives are to maintain a high level of reliability and availability of its units. This will be achieved by a quality programme of monthly planned maintenance that ensures the units are always kept in good condition. This will be supported by a reactive maintenance service in response to system failures with the emphasis on minimising disruption to the business. The service will require a resident engineer to provide a reactive and planned maintenance service to support the lifts. The Contractor will need to engage with third party organisations to provide support as part of the service. Services provided under this Contract shall be sufficient to ensure that the (UoR) conforms to the Health and Safety at Work act 1974 etc. Additional information: Note: Documents may be found at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/theuniversityofreading/aspx/Home Draft ITT documents have been attached for information purposes only.
