## Notice

The Improvement contract is to carry out maintenance to the small stone arch bridge on public footpath in the Parish of Churchstanton. The current bridge is a small stone arch culvert constructed under an old hedgebank adjacent to a redundant ford. The age of the bridge is unknown. The structure has partially collapsed and has vegetation growth, mortar loss and some missing masonry. Works include: * Removing vegetation and treating. * Installing a suitable de-watering system to create a dry working area. * Clearing silt from around and underneath the structure * Raking out old mortar where damaged or missing * Replacing missing masonry * Repointing where necessary.
