It is believed that making the Local Resilience Forum's training available through e-learning will provide the following advantages: * The ability to train a larger number of personnel within Local Resilience Forum organisations * Flexibility in terms of undertaking training (i.e. trainees can choose a time suitable for them) * An opportunity for new employees / appointees to receive training as part of their induction, rather than needing to wait for a course to be made available * A process to engage with trainees after they have completed the e-learning, to offer tailored support or answer any queries they may have * Efficiencies in training administration.
