## Summary

The NHS England has successfully completed a tender for "Data/Digital Support for the Elective Recovery Programme," aimed at enhancing strategic direction and support in the healthcare sector following the pandemic. This procurement falls within the health services and business management consultancy sectors, with a contract value of £100,000. The contract period will run from April 26, 2022, to May 24, 2022. The procurement process followed a selective method, utilising a call-off from a framework agreement, and the tender period concluded on November 5, 2021. The location of service delivery is in Leeds, England.

This tender presents a robust opportunity for businesses specialising in health consultancy and data analysis, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in strategic support and modelling within healthcare. Companies able to provide analytical support, such as reviewing and improving existing modelling data, will find a conducive environment to bid, especially those that can demonstrate a capacity for delivering innovative solutions aligned with the National Elective Recovery Programme's priorities.

## Notice

The Elective Recovery Programme was established to provide strategic direction and support to the NHS in response to one of the most significant challenges facing the healthcare sector post pandemic. Through the development of a National Elective Recovery Strategy, the Elective Recovery Programme brings together key internal and external partners across the NHS to support the restoration of elective activity and reduce waiting lists. The Elective Recovery Programme required a external partner to support delivery of National priorities and provide additional, regionally aligned, resource to support implementation and delivery of key programmes and workstreams that support elective recovery. Analytical Support - for a period of 4 weeks External support is required to conduct a review of elective recovery modelling to test robustness of existing modelling as well as informing further development of modelling. Specifically the areas of support with involve: * Documenting and articulating analytical work done to date to inform ongoing strategy development * Testing existing assumptions against evidence / recent data on the ground * Running some sensitivity analysis to understand the likely impact of various factors * Making recommendations for future work to further strengthen modelling and to inform planning * Any solutions and improvement techniques to be handed over to incoming PM teams, ensuring knowhow is duly embedded into NHS resource. We are looking to procure a service to deliver this support to the National and Regional teams aligned to strategic priorities of the National Elective Recovery Programme. This was competed through the HSSF framework.
