This project aims to develop Independent Living and Extra Care schemes across Essex over the next seven years. A market engagement notice was published on 3rd April 2017, and an engagement event is scheduled for 25th April 2017 in Chelmsford. Interested parties must register by 19th April 2017 to attend the discussion, which will cover project scope, provider relationships, and future procurement plans. The primary industry category for this procurement is construction work for social services buildings. Further details on the scope of the project and procurement processes will follow in due course. This EEN is to notify the market of a market engagement event to be held by ECC to discuss the Independent Living project being developed. This will include a presentation to the attendees, and will cover: scope of the project and the need in Essex; structure of the schemes and relationship between providers and ECC; upcoming procurement exercises and opportunities; future procurement plans; questions from providers and feedback on plans This event will be held on 25th April 2017 from 10am to 12pm (please note: details are subject to change but details will be finalised in advance) in Chelmsford (location TBC).
