## Summary

The procurement process involves the NOE-CPC, located in Derbyshire, which is seeking to award contracts for Total Waste Management Services categorised under refuse and waste-related services. The procurement method used is selective, following a restricted procedure, with the contract period commencing on 1st April 2018 and concluding on 31st March 2022. The tender, classified under various lots, anticipates awards for Lot 1 (General Waste & Recycling), Lot 4 (Confidential Waste), and Lot 5 (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment). The deadline for submissions was 24th September 2017.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in waste management and environmental services, particularly those capable of managing various waste streams sustainably. Companies with expertise in recycling, waste collection, and disposal processes would be well-suited to compete, especially those that can meet stringent regulatory and environmental standards. Having the capacity to adopt environmentally friendly practices, such as the Waste Hierarchy, could enhance competitiveness in fulfilling the contract requirements.
