This is the 4th and final stage of the refurbishment of the hall and previous refurbishments have included a new kitchen, renovation of the main hall and repairs to the exterior. The toilet refurbishment project is subject to a successful funding application to The Veolia Environmental Trust which has largely funded previous refurbishment. The application will be submitted before 12th April 2018 once a contractor has been chosen and prices are known. 20% of the required funding will be provided by Harthill with Woodall Parish Council and this is already in place. This phase of the overall refurbishment seeks to upgrade the toilet block, introduce baby changing facilities and replace the floor. We are keen to introduce environmental aspects to the project if / where possible and would welcome additional ideas for this. Other aspects of the refurbishment completion to be included in this round (but are not part of this tender) are the installation of a hearing loop system into the main hall and lounge areas of the building, and installation of insulation in the kitchen and lounge roof space. It is likely that this work will be undertaken at the same time as the toilet refurbishment but will not affect access.
