## Notice

Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing (POCT) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway. The proposed solution must include: * 54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices (number includes branch sites) * Devices to provide total cholesterol (TC) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum * Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales * Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests * Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales * Provision of manufacturer's instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine * On-going technical support for the duration of the contract * On-going training support for the duration of the contract * Clear process for accessing technical and training support (e.g. service desk, telephone number, email address) * Processes for re-ordering of consumables * Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily 'go, no go' test * IQC record keeping/log sheets provided * All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance Scheme Out of Scope * Blood glucose/ HbA1c testing * Record keeping
