Scope of Requirement The AMRC IMG Group has a requirement for two kinematically-linked medium payload, six-axis robots for use in creating a research cell dedicated to the automated winding of coils for electrical machines to be installed at the AMRC Factory 2050 facility in Sheffield. As this cell will be used as a research platform, it must offer a means of controlling the robots in real-time via an external PC with non-proprietary software, e.g. ROS-Industrial. To ensure best value for money, the AMRC are willing to consider and review a proposal for ex-demo robots, which meets all technical, commissioning and warranty items specified.
