Street sweeping and gully emptying material has the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) classification of 20-03-03 'Street Cleaning residue'. Street Sweepings and Gully Emptying's may include but are not limited to silt, grit, sand, water, broken glass, litter, leaves and other vegetation. It is also likely to contain a range of contaminants such as oil, diesel, small dead animals and salt. They may also include heavy metals, other contaminants and have high leachable organic content. The supplier will be required to collect waste (street sweepings) from collection points around the Lincolnshire area (Grantham, Sleaford, Boston, Louth and Gainsborough) and transport the waste to the supplier's treatment site. The supplier may also be required to accept direct deliveries to the supplier treatment site.
