The provider will be expected to carry out research to identify case study areas, with support also provided by the LGA. The final set of councils to be approached will be agreed with the Lead Officer. Case studies should: *Outline the policy children and young people were engaged in developing and the aim of this engagement *How young people were engaged *The impact on the policy development *Whether the approach is being sustained or developed *Lessons learned/advice for those looking to learn from the experience *Include a contact for those wishing to learn more The set of case studies should include: *Representation from councils under a range of political representation *Representation from each region of England so far as possible *Representation from councils of a range of structures so far as possible (unitary, county and district) *Examples of engaging a range of demographic groups so far as possible, for example ensuring the engagement of disabled children, LGBTQIA+ young people or children in care. *Examples of engaging children and young people in policy development across a range of policy areas, not only children's services. The final set of case studies should be presented in Word format for publication on the LGA website.
