## Summary

The procurement process for the "UK SBS Automated Soil Flux Station" is currently managed by the UK Shared Business Services Limited (UK SBS), located in Swindon, England. The process falls under the goods category, specifically for the procurement of surveying and measuring instruments, with a total contract value of £78,000. The tender is at the award stage, having closed on 20 October 2016, and the effective contract period starts on 7 November 2016 and ends on 31 March 2017. This open procedure aims to select a supplier to provide an automated CO2 soil flux monitoring station, with possibilities to measure additional gases such as methane.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the measurement and instrumentation sectors. Companies that specialise in manufacturing or supplying scientific equipment, particularly those with expertise in environmental monitoring technology, would be well-suited to compete. As UK SBS aims to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the public sector, businesses that demonstrate innovation and can offer competitive solutions have the chance to grow through such procurement opportunities.
