## Summary

Wolverhampton City Council is overseeing a public procurement process for the replacement of shelving and furniture on the ground floor of the Central Library located in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. The contract, valued at £61,955.41, falls under the industry category of furniture, with the procurement process having reached the award stage as of 9th September 2025. The process was initiated as a tender and utilised an 'Other' procurement method. The contract is set to commence on 2nd September 2025 and conclude by 30th November 2025. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are well-suited to compete, given the council's suitability criteria. Businesses with environmentally responsible credentials, including those holding FSC certificates for wood-based products, are particularly encouraged to partake. The successful completion of this project could open further opportunities for businesses in urban development and public space refitting within the public and private sectors. The awarding of the contract to WF Education Group Limited underscores the competitive potential for businesses aiming to supply durable, compliant, and innovative solutions in public environments.
