## Summary

The procurement process, managed by NHS England and NHS Improvement, involves the "Primary Care Network Point of Care Data Capture Services_FY25/26" contract. It is categorised under Data collection and collation services (CPV: 72314000) and is located within England, United Kingdom. The procurement, valued at £500,000, was carried out through the NHS's standard PCR Direct Award procedure, specifically a negotiated procedure without prior publication (Reg 32). This initiative, previously at the award stage, concluded with an active status, and two contracts were awarded on 28th March 2025 with a contract period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026.

This tender represents significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for SMEs in the technology and healthcare sectors that specialise in data management and collation services. The engagement is particularly well-suited for suppliers with technical capabilities in vaccination data capture systems. The procurement process allows competing suppliers, EGTON MEDICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS LIMITED and The Phoenix Partnership Limited (TPP Leeds), both of which are SMEs, to deliver unique systems ensuring adherence to JCVI requirements for vaccination types and campaigns. This competitive setting offers additional revenue streams and market penetration potential for businesses equipped to fulfil the rigorous data handling and reporting requirements stipulated by NHS England.

## Notice

This opportunity provides for direct award engagement equally to each of the two only suppliers that have been technically assured by NHSE to provide their unique systems for vaccine data capture and management services in Primary Care Network (PCN-GP) settings. Both suppliers will be contracted under NHS England standardised terms and conditions and the suppliers will operate in competition with each other in order to gain share directly within the PCN/GP marketplace to deploly their systems for the recording, collating and transmission of vaccination event data for COVID and co-administered Flu vaccination types only. The compensation to suppliers for service delivery will be on the basis of PS30 "license fee", paid for each PCN registered in any vaccination campaign month month using that supplier's system and irrespective of the number off vaccination events that are actually recorded by that system. Additionally, an amount of PS10,000 shall be paid once to each supplier each month under contract, to ensure the supplier's compliance with JVCI requirements for each vaccination type and campaign, performance parameters and reporting requirements.
