## Notice

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Parklands High School. Parklands is an 11-16 mixed, non-selective, standalone Academy located in Chorley, Lancashire. The school is justifiably proud of its tradition as a caring, forward-looking, successful school which is constantly seeking out ways of improving upon and extending the range of opportunities it offers to its pupils and the community. The school has approximately 1 100 pupils. The Client is keen to ensure that best value is received from the cleaning contract and to this end is seeking expressions of interest from Suppliers who are experienced in managing cleaning services within the education sector and specifically for secondary schools. The successful Supplier will be able to demonstrate that it has the resource and expertise within this geographic area to support the contract. The cleaning service is currently managed in-house with a number of vacancies currently covered by a local agency. The contract will commence on 1.5.2018 for an initial period of three years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Contract value: approximately 220 000 GBP (3 years). The Selection Questionnaire and associated documents can be obtained at: http://www.litmuspartnership.co.uk/project/parklands_high_school The closing date for receipt of the Selection Questionnaire is 29.12.2017 (12:00). Suppliers are required to ensure that documents are obtained and returned to The Litmus Partnership Limited, by email to pqq@litmuspartnership.co.uk by the above closing date and time. Documents in respect of economic / financial standing (where indicated in the Selection Questionnaire) shall be returned to The Litmus Partnership Limited, by email to pqq@litmuspartnership.co.uk by the above closing date and time. It will be the Supplier's responsibility to obtain any necessary documents in order to submit a response by the closing date and time. The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any or part of the contract which is the subject of this Contract Notice and reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time. The contracting authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity. The contracting authority will consider variant bids, evaluating them (so far as the variant or the evaluation of the variant is in the opinion of the contracting authority practicable) on the same basis as a conforming bid, but shall not be obliged to accept any such bid in preference to a conforming bid even if the variant bid scores more highly. No variant will be considered unless the bidder simultaneously submits a conforming bid.
