## Notice

The Business and Tourism Programme (BATP) through WMGC Ltd as the contracting entity is seeking to appoint a Consultant to undertake the MICE Economic Impact Study for BATP in assessing additionality of Impact directly attributable to the Programme over and above what would have happened anyway. This will then be a key component of the final evaluation of whether the costs of the Programme were proportionate and were outweighed by the benefits, cost effectiveness and cost benefit analysis. In particular, we need to establish baseline (2019) for the economic impact of the business tourism sector across the region. The last study of this type was completed in 2007 and was just for Birmingham. The business tourism sector is a major contributor to West Midlands' regional economy.
