## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside is seeking proposals for the provision of training venues within the Merseyside area through an open tender. Titled "Training Venues for Diversionary Training," this initiative falls under the services category, specifically hotel meeting and conference services (CPV code: 55120000). The tender was published on 15th March 2017 and is currently active, with a submission deadline set for 18th April 2017. The contract period spans two years, starting from 1st December 2017 and possibly extending for up to two additional 12-month terms. The estimated value of the contract is £735,000, with a minimum value of £200,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in venue management and conference service provision. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, as the open procedure allows for broad participation. Companies that can offer suitable facilities for training courses on an "as required" basis, especially with seven-day availability, will find this opportunity well-suited to their capabilities, potentially leading to sustained contracts with the Police and Crime Commissioner.
