The "Connect To Work" programme represents a significant opportunity for businesses, especially those specialized in employment and health support services. It aims to support approximately 13,500 residents in the North East, focusing on individuals who are out of work due to health conditions or face barriers to employment. This tender encourages small, medium enterprises (SMEs), and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) to participate due to its open procurement method, which provides a level playing field for a wide range of businesses. The programme utilises an evidence-based Supported Employment model, requiring service providers capable of delivering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) interventions. Therefore, businesses with expertise in supported employment and health integration services will find this tender particularly advantageous for growth and fostering long-term community impact.
