This tender is classified under the industry category of electrical machinery and was awarded through a selective procurement method, specifically a restricted procedure. The tender period ended on 23 February 2021, and the contract commenced on 31 March 2021, concluding on 30 July 2021. The total value of the awarded contract amounts to £180,990, and the scope includes the delivery and commissioning of equipment necessary for wire bonding applications.

This opportunity is particularly relevant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in electrical engineering, manufacturing, or providing technical support services. Businesses that can deliver the specified equipment, along with after-sales support and maintenance, would be well-positioned to take advantage of this contract. As the project is part of a broader initiative to enhance clean technologies across various sectors, it presents a strategic opportunity for growth in an expanding market.
