## Summary

The UK Ministry of Defence, specifically Defence Statistics, is conducting a procurement process for the "UK Armed Forces Veterans Suicide Study", which falls under the research services category. This study aims to analyse suicide rates among service leavers from 1996 to 2017 and to factor in various vulnerabilities and exposures. The tender process has concluded, having ended on 12th February 2020, with the awarded contract value set at £245,565, and the contract period running from 24th February 2020 to 24th February 2023. The award notice was published on 16th February 2020.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in research services, particularly those specialising in mental health analysis, statistical data interpretation, and related fields. Companies that have robust experience in conducting academic research, especially with a focus on public health or veteran affairs, would be well-suited to compete for similar future tenders. The study's comprehensive research requirements highlight the demand for expertise in evaluating complex social issues, making it a relevant opportunity for organisations aiming to expand their operations within public sector contracts.
