## Summary

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) has initiated the tender process for the "H3AT - Water Detritiation System" project. This procurement is aimed at sourcing a WDS equipment package for the Hydrogen-3 Advanced Technology Facility at UKAEA's Culham Campus. The tender, classified under the industry category "Measuring and control equipment" (CPV: 38424000), involves significant engineering, fabrication, and installation work, and will be deployed at the Culham site (OX14 3DB). The tender was published on 11 December 2024, with a deadline for submissions on 10 January 2025. The contract period is set to begin on 7 July 2025 and conclude on 6 July 2028, with an estimated project value of £4.2 million GBP.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in engineering design, manufacturing, installation services, and commissioning, particularly those with experience in equipment packages for complex scientific or technical facilities. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as the procurement method follows a selective restricted procedure, ensuring fair chances for capable suppliers. Companies skilled in project and design preparation, instrumentation, mechanical and electrical installations, and integration testing are exceptionally well-suited to compete in this tender, providing a significant growth opportunity through collaboration with a leading authority in nuclear research and technology development.
