The Council aims to transition from a joint contract with another council to an autonomous system by March 2024. Interested parties should contact the North Northamptonshire Procurement Team for further details on the procurement process. ## Notice North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is a new Unitary authority that came into existence on Thursday, 1st April 2021 following the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019 The new Unitary authority has combined the legacy District and Borough Council areas of Corby, East Northamptonshire (Thrapston), Kettering, and Wellingborough, along with the County Council functions of those areas, into a single authority. The current population of the authority is 350,500. The primary purpose of this expression of interest (EOI) is to inform the markets of prospective opportunities in connection with the NNC Children's Services, specifically Education, and to seek feedback. North Northamptonshire Council is committed to 'Better, Brighter Futures', ensuring every child has equal access to a good standard of education and using technology to make a real difference. The Education service was originally a County-wide service and is now operated independently by both North and West Northamptonshire Council's serving their own communities. The legacy Case Management System has been split between the 2 councils still on a joint contract, with the contract coming to an end in March 2024. NNC are seeking to procure an autonomous Case Management System in order to provide an effective and efficient service. An Education Case Management IT System is essential to providing high quality customer service enabling children to thrive. NNC's Children's Service supports just over 84,000 residents aged 18 years or below (24%) and their parent/guardians. (Office for National Statistics' Mid-Year Population Estimates June 2020). We are seeking a Case Management System to support these customers. We are seeking a system for all aspects of the Education service which will provide us with an accessible one picture of the child, provide robust, accurate and timely reporting for performance and financial management, support legislative requirements including statutory reporting, enabling and enhancing partnership working to improve the lives of residents in North Northamptonshire. It is intended that a procurement process will be initiated for an Education Case Management IT system that will be contracted solely to NNC.
