The council intend to enter into an agreement under a new NEC3 (Engineering & Construction) Short Form Contract (ECES). The existing roofs to the identified properties are in a functional condition however suffering from corrosion of the metal roofing sheets to cut edges and fixing points. The appearance, water tightness and safety of the building are suffering as a result. It is proposed to over clad the existing roofs, incorporating 100mm insulation and new roof lights.
