Since 2019 HE has been engaging alongside other ALBs with the NP11 umbrella body for Northern local enterprise partnerships, promoting a strategic approach to place-based investment across the North. As part of this we co-sponsored NP11's Place Strategy for the North (2022) which makes the case for Place as a huge and untapped opportunity for the North, offering both hard economic outcomes and meaningful benefit to people's wellbeing, livelihoods, and communities.
