## Summary

The CTM Portal for the NDA Shared Services Alliance has awarded a contract titled "LLWR Waste Characterisation Services". This procurement falls within the industry category of radioactive waste services and is located in Calderbridge, England. The contract represents a four-year framework agreement with an estimated total value of £14 million, although it operates under a zero-value agreement with no guaranteed spend. The procurement method utilised for this process was an open procedure, with the contract period commencing on 30 July 2021 and concluding on 29 July 2025. The associated tender period ended on 5 February 2021, indicating that the contract is now complete.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses operating in the environmental and waste management sectors, particularly those specialising in radioactive and hazardous waste services. Companies that are well-suited to compete for work within this framework include large-scale contractors and firms with the capability to provide waste characterisation services to both public and private sector organisations. Eligible suppliers may include those involved in nuclear decommissioning and waste management, thereby creating pathways for growth and collaboration within the nuclear industry and related fields.
