This lies with one of many projects within the Manchester area that are set to be upgraded. A remodeling of the station at Salford Crescent, specifically a platform addition will be essential to accommodate the planned implementation of longer rolling stock services. Kier are seeking expressions of interest for early contractor engagement in relation to the Fire Stopping. The package will consist of Fire Stopping at Salford Crescent, specifications to be confirmed.
