## Summary

The Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) is currently running a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Technology Enabled Care Solutions, which aims to enhance procurement flexibility and innovation in care technology. This tender process, initiated on 16 October 2018, is classified under the CPV code for Computer-related equipment. The anticipated value of the services procured over the duration of this DPS is estimated at £250 million, with the tender period concluding on 19 October 2022. Following this, the contract period is set from 20 to 21 October 2022, enabling various permissible users identified by YPO to procure directly from enrolled suppliers.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), seeking to engage in the care technology sector. Companies specialising in software, electronic equipment, health services, and installation of telecommunications would be well-placed to compete. By participating in this DPS, suppliers can benefit from a streamlined procurement process aimed at improving service user outcomes and creating social value, thereby enhancing their market reach and business growth potential.
