## Notice

There will be no commitment made to either the total value or number of orders placed in relation to this contract. The programme will look to re-architect the university's network, re-evaluating its Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) provision, to deliver a new Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) as part of a wider Secure Service Edge adoption. The network will underpin and form a key component of what will be a smart campus at Barrow-in-Furness, with the connectivity component enabling all the other component elements of the smart campus to inter-connect. This includes sensors, control devices and user devices. This will be achieved in a phased approach starting with a new campus in Barrow-In-Furness in 2024, followed by a further new campus in Carlisle in 2026. Further phases will see a full rolling refresh programme at UoC's other campuses. This ITT is for Phase 1, Barrow-in-Furness, only.
