## Summary

The Leicestershire County Council is currently managing the procurement process for the "Windows Replacement Framework 2018", aimed at the installation of doors and windows. This framework is intended for use by the Council and eligible contracting authorities across various regions including the East Midlands and the Home Counties. The procurement method is an open procedure, with the tender period closing on 2nd November 2018. The contract is valued at approximately £3.5 million and is set to commence on 2nd January 2019, lasting until 31st December 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in construction and installation services related to windows and doors. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to apply, as the framework is well-suited for companies that can support the urgent needs of public sector clients such as schools, councils, and charitable organisations across the specified regions. Given the substantial framework value, businesses with a proven track record in public works will find this a fruitful opportunity for growth and partnership with the local government.
