## Summary

The procurement process involves the BMB Joint Venture (comprising BAM Nuttall, Morgan Sindall PLC, and Balfour Beatty), which is managing a tender for the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, specifically focusing on the C405 Main Works West at the Hammersmith site. The project, categorised under the works industry, aims to construct essential infrastructure, including a Deaeration Gallery and a Connection Culvert, to manage combined sewage flow in London. The tender was published on 27 March 2020 and closed on 7 May 2020, with the contract period scheduled to run from 28 May 2020 to 30 September 2020. All works will be situated in London, UK, and the procurement method employed is an open procedure, indicating broad competition for suppliers.

This tender presents significant opportunities for construction and civil engineering firms, particularly those with expertise in concrete works, installation of shutters, and related civil engineering projects. Businesses that can demonstrate experience in large-scale infrastructure developments and possess a strong capacity for quality work in high-pressure environments will be well-suited to respond. The successful bidder will need to provide comprehensive services, including concrete placement and labour, allowing suitable companies the chance to expand their portfolio within a pivotal public works initiative.
