This project, which is part of major improvements to the existing A47, replaces the existing single carriageways between North Tuddenham and Easton with a dual carriageway, linking the existing dual carriageway at North Tuddenham to the Southern Norwich Bypass at Easton. The route is offline and crosses the existing A47 at three separate locations. Package: Structural Steelwork Outline Scope of Works: Galliford try is looking for Contractors to manufacture, provide and install steel structures. The structures are: - One bridge over the river Tudd with a 43m span, using 4 pairs of steel girders with approximately 310 tonne. - One foot bridge, using one pair of steel girders with a metallic deck with approximately 45 tonne. Full details and specifications will be provided to the successfully shortlisted supplier. Suppliers should be aware of the scale of this project and should assess their internal capabilities to be able to carry out the intended scope of works, prior to completing this expression of interest (EOI).
