PCC's Permanency Service requires an organisation to provide and manage, Qualified Social Workers who are skilled, experienced and competent in completing Form F Assessments, with a view to carers (in line with assessment conclusions) being recommended by Fostering Panel for approval as Local Authority Foster Carers by the Permanency Service Agency Decision Maker (ADM). The Form F assessment consists of two stages, both stages must be completed in advance of a carer progressing to Panel. Currently PCC have six (6) prospective foster carer households awaiting assessment, and completion of the Form F process, and it is anticipated that up to a further 9 assessments may be required in the coming months. Fostering Panel dates are currently scheduled from December 2020 - March 2021 in preparation for these assessments to be presented to panel.
