## Summary

This public procurement process is initiated by Seetec Business Technology Centre Limited for a contract titled "Online Short Courses" in the education and training services category. The procurement is to meet the high demand for online short courses that support participants' progression into sustainable employment. The services include a broad array of courses, such as construction, hospitality, business, care, manufacturing and engineering, education, and digital skills. The procurement method used is an open procedure, and the process involves a below-threshold purchase. The procurement stage is the award stage, following the tender completion on 27 October 2024. The contract period starts on 1 December 2024 and ends on 30 November 2028, with the location for service delivery being across England, UK. The tender aims to support Seetec's purpose, vision, mission, and values, aligning with the organisation's strategic objectives.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in various training services to become intervention partners with Seetec. Organisations that can provide accredited and non-accredited online training services, particularly those experienced in working with cohorts such as the unemployed, economically inactive, ex-offenders, and those with SEND, would find this opportunity suitable. SMEs and VCSEs are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful bidders will be included in Seetec's database of intervention partners and will automatically be enrolled in a framework to be launched in 2025, granting potential for future direct awards. This initiative offers selected businesses a chance to grow by accessing a continuous stream of referrals from Seetec's various employability contracts, including but not limited to Restart Scheme and Work & Health Programme, across multiple geographies in the UK.
