## Notice

UK Biobank uses a "Polar" Automated -80degC freezer system supplied by The Automation Partnership ("TAP") for the storage of a variety of biological samples.The storage system comprises:-- an antechamber, held at +4degC, which is the main point of access for operators wishing to enter samples into the store or remove samples from storage- a main chamber, held at -20degC, which itself houses a series of "ultra-low temperature compartments" (ULTCs) held at -80degC
