The works will consist of the following construction activities: *Site clearance *Fencing and landscaping works *Installation of foot/cycleway bituminous pavement including kerbing and drainage *Contractor electrical and illumination design *Installation of nominated subway lighting and installation of CCTV camera systems *Application of proprietary anti-graffiti coating to subway walls below arch springing level *Injection of proprietary waterproofing system to extrados of north and south arch structures *Localised crack sealing and repointing of arch masonry The contract, which is expected to start in May 2015, will be for a period of twelve weeks and all works must be completed in accordance with the contract specification and by the deadlines set by the Council. The estimated total value of the contract is circa 300,000 GBP.
