## Summary

The NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit is seeking to recommission Mental Health and Learning Disability services for HMP/YOI Bronzefield, a women's prison located in Ashford, Surrey. This procurement is currently in the awarding stage, following an open tender process initiated on 18 August 2017, with a tender submission deadline of 28 September 2017. The contract, valued at approximately £826,000 annually, is set to commence on 1 April 2018 and will last for three years, with a potential two-year extension.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the healthcare sector, specifically those specialising in mental health and learning disability services. Companies that can deliver comprehensive, integrated care models and have experience working within correctional settings or with diverse patient populations will be particularly well-positioned to compete. The emphasis on flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs aligns with the capabilities of SMEs in the healthcare industry, making it an attractive opportunity for smaller enterprises looking to expand their portfolio in public contracts.
