## Summary

The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is conducting a project titled "Floating Offshore Wind - Risk to Project Development - People, Skills and Vocations". This tender falls under the category of architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services and is aimed at assessing the risks to project development related to human resources for floating offshore wind. The tender was published on 3rd September 2021, and the procurement method employed is an open procedure. The contract period is set to commence from 26th September 2021 and will run until 18th February 2022. Bids for this tender closed on 9th September 2021.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for businesses focused on human resources, training, and consultancy services, particularly those with expertise in the offshore wind sector and related industries such as oil and gas or carbon capture. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) would be well-suited to compete, as the project aims to enhance workforce capabilities and address skills gaps within the sector, potentially leading to further roles and contracts in the burgeoning field of renewable energy.
