Sheffield City Council ('the Council') is seeking to procure a Retail and Leisure Study. Your organisation, along with others, is invited to submit a quote for the Retail and Leisure Study. A Retail and Leisure Study will provide a robust and credible evidence base to inform Sheffield's work in the preparation of the emerging Local Plan. We will also use the findings of the Study to inform decisions affecting the location, size and type of new retail and leisure development across both boroughs. Such decisions and insight will support decisions affecting the vitality and viability of the city centre and Local and District Centres, which is more important than ever following the Covid-19 pandemic. The last retail study was carried out jointly between Sheffield and Rotherham in 2017 by GVA Bilfinger (now Avison Young).
