## Summary

The NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), through the NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit, is currently in the planning stage of procuring urgent treatment centres for patients residing in the Borough of Halton as well as those from neighbouring areas. This procurement, titled "NHS Halton CCG - Urgent Treatment Centres," falls within the health services category and has a total estimated contract value of £33,862,012 over a potential five-year duration, including an initial three-year term starting from 1st October 2019, with an option to extend for an additional two years. Key dates for suppliers include the submission deadline for clarification questions by 7th December 2018 and for the selection questionnaire by 14th December 2018.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for healthcare providers interested in entering or expanding within the NHS services sector, particularly those that specialise in urgent care and related health services. Businesses with expertise in delivering urgent treatment centres or those able to provide supportive services in the health domain, including diagnostic testing, triage, and patient support services, would be well-positioned to compete for this tender. Additionally, this project may stimulate further collaboration among healthcare providers and improve service delivery in the North West region.
