The key elements of the current CCTV & ANPR infrastructure are ageing and a number of elements are out of support. The contracts for the current CCTV & ANPR service are supported by a number of vendors which come to an end during 2021. GMCA is seeking a partner to take on responsibility for the provision and maintenance of CCTV and ANPR services. This will initially involve maintenance and support of the existing estate to support immediate policing needs, but the Service Provider would lead the development of a roadmap for a new, fit for purpose CCTV & ANPR service to meet the current and future operational needs of GMP. Additional information: GMCA is seeking a partner to take on responsibility for the provision and maintenance of CCTV and ANPR services. This will initially involve maintenance and support of the existing estate to support immediate policing needs, but the Service Provider would act as a Technical Design Authority (TDA) and lead the development of a roadmap for a new, fit for purpose CCTV & ANPR service (to commence as soon after the contract start date as possible) to meet the current and future operational needs of GMP.
