## Summary

The Environment Agency is initiating a tender for the 2023 Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Framework. This procurement activity aims to establish a route to market for PFR schemes to enhance flood protection for residential and commercial properties. The Framework consists of two Lots: one for Survey, Options & Quality Assurance, and the other for Detailed Design & Construction. The procurement will be conducted through a Regional single organisation model aligned with the EA's Integrated Delivery Teams across six regions. The tender deadline is on 23rd March 2023, and the contract is set to run for four years.

This tender by the Environment Agency provides opportunities for businesses in flood-prevention works and flood-defences maintenance services. Businesses with expertise in surveying, construction, and quality assurance are well-suited to participate. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to engage with this tender. The open procedure above threshold allows for flexible participation, and the four-year contract duration offers stability for successful bidders to contribute to enhancing flood resilience across various regions.
