## Summary

The Lee Valley Regional Park Authority has awarded a contract for the replacement of shower trays, vinyl flooring, and skirting detailing in the changing rooms at the Lee Valley Ice Centre. This project involves the rectification of snagging issues left unresolved following the administration of the original contractor, Buckingham Group Limited. The procurement process followed an open procedure and is classified under repair and maintenance work in connection with sports facilities, with additional classifications for repair and maintenance services, shower basins, and floor-laying work. The contract was awarded to Trio The Difference, and the work is scheduled to take place from 28th November 2024 to 28th February 2025 in London, United Kingdom.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction, repair, and maintenance, particularly those with experience in sports facilities and snagging rectification works. The project, with its specific requirements for floor and skirting detail work alongside shower basin replacements, is well-suited for SMEs seeking to expand their portfolio in the public sector. Companies with expertise in detailed finish work can leverage this contract to demonstrate their capability in high-quality, time-sensitive projects, potentially leading to further contracts with public authorities.

## Notice

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority ('the Authority') requires various trade to undertake handover snagging rectification works based on a schedule of day rates and on costs at the Lee Valley Ice Centre (LVIC). LVIC has recently been built for the Authority by a construction company (Buckingham Group Limited) that has since entered administration. Fortunately, the main construction works were completed before the Contractor entered administration, and the Centre is now open to the general public. However, as a result of the Main Contractors administration process, numerous general snagging items still remain and need to be addressed; therefore, the Authority plans to group all snags relating to the changing rooms into a single package for tendering purposes. The Authority is the owner of the Venue which is operated by Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) and is responsible for the Snagging Rectification Works. The works entail digging out and replacing nine faulty linear shower drainage trays, isolated repairs of concrete screeds in showers, the replacement of all vinyl floor coverings in showers and all skirting detailing in changing rooms.
