## Summary

NHS England and NHS Improvement South East is initiating a virtual market engagement event focused on Integrated Healthcare Services for several Surrey prisons, including HMP Send, Downview, Coldingley, High Down, and Bronzefield. This procurement, currently in the planning stage, aims to find qualified Prime Providers who can deliver comprehensive healthcare services equivalent to those offered in the community. Important dates include the end of engagement on 12th November 2020 and the expected contract commencement on 1st April 2022, with an indicative annual value of £24 million.

This opportunity presents significant potential for business growth, particularly for healthcare providers, including primary care, mental health services, and integrated substance misuse services. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, as the NHS seeks to establish partnerships with adept providers capable of delivering integrated care in both prison and community settings. Interested parties should register on the In-Tend e-procurement platform to express their interest and participate in the engagement event scheduled for 19th November.

This notice is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition in its own right, and therefore publication or response does not commit NHS England or respondents to a future procurement or to any award of contracts, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest. NHS England will not be liable for costs incurred by any interested party in participating in this exercise.
