The Councils are taking the implementation of the Care Act 2014 as an opportunity to re-commission a new integrated advocacy service for their areas. It has recently been agreed that Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will work together to take forward a joint commissioning approach. The process will culminate in two separate contracts so that financial arrangements and budgets remain clearly defined within each area. However, we will take forward a single tender process and agree on joint monitoring processes.
