Brief description: Sandwell MBC Citizen and Consumer Protection, Business and Consumer team is looking for a fully qualified, enthusiastic and reliable Trading Standards Officer. We are looking for someone with recent experience of conducting Food Standards Inspections. You should hold the baseline qualification to enable you to carry out food standards work and should be able to demonstrate competency against the framework specified in the Food Law Practice Guidance (March 2021). This role is ideally tailored towards somebody with public sector food premises inspection experience. You must be competent with Microsoft Office and use of the internet and be an excellent communicator at all levels. Knowledge of the CIVICA environmental health database is desirable. A Standard DBS is required for this role. This role falls inside of IR35 Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
