Tyne & Wear Building Preservation Trust is a small charity that has recently taken on a 99 Lease for the premises and received funding from the Community Renewal Fund to undertake these works. The works include the following: * The formation of the new access ramp and steps to the South Porch doorway. * The installation of a new door with internal access ramp to the South Porch. * The repair of the wall plates to the northern wall to the Nave. * The inspection and repointing of upper stone work to the South Transept. * The inspection of roofing timbers and securing of roof timbers to the South Transept. * The formation of a ceiling over the glazed office to the South Transept. * The change of one of the glass panels to the glazed office to provide a viewing panel. * The adaptation of a cleaning store to create a shower room.
