## Summary

The procurement process involves a Framework Agreement for Ground Investigation Works established by The Coal Authority, a governmental body situated in Mansfield, England. This tender, labelled CA18/02468, falls under the construction work industry category and is set to span four years from 1 August 2015 to 31 July 2019. As part of the award stage, this contract, valued at £800,000, invites applicants to offer services primarily across various coalfield regions within the UK. The contract requires high standards of delivery, safety, and environmental performance, with the necessary documentation being accessible via the Authority's eTender portal.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in geotechnical and construction works, particularly those capable of delivering high-quality investigative services. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as the Coal Authority intends to appoint a minimum of two companies to ensure adequate regional coverage. Companies that excel in collaborative project delivery and can demonstrate a commitment to health and safety will find this procurement particularly advantageous for expanding their operational scope within the UK. Furthermore, potential suppliers should be prepared to engage with the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract methodology as part of the tendering process.
